Custom Display Boards
Greyscale etch for maximum detail. We use a specialist process that allows smooth tones and high-detail photo results on timber — often with minimal image editing.
Note: This process is not food-safe, so these are designed for display (wall, shelf, keepsake).
Foodsafe Engraved Boards
Laser-burn engraving for real use. Because we’re engraving by burning into the wood, designs work best with clear lines, separation, and strong contrast for crisp, defined results.
Photos can work, but they may need cleanup/simplifying so the engraving stays sharp and readable.
Custom Coasters
Ceramic or slate coaster sets — perfect for weddings, anniversaries, housewarmings and corporate gifts. Proof sent before engraving.

Do I get to approve the design?
Yes — we send a proof for custom work, so you can confirm wording, layout and the overall look before engraving.
What photos work best?
Clear photos with good lighting and sharp focus engrave best. If your image needs a bit of cleanup, we’ll let you know and handle it during prep.
Pickup or shipping?
Both. We’re based in Invercargill and ship NZ-wide.
Reclaimed timber boards made to size
We can make reclaimed timber boards to your dimensions (Tawai, Rimu, Macrocarpa, Redwood). Expect natural character (including the occasional old nail hole) — we minimise, fill and seal everything with a food-safe finish.
